Cosmology Seminar Announcement Dr. Manuel Calderon de la Barca Sanchez Indiana University " Recent results from RHIC " Date: Thursday, MArch 31, 2005 416 Phy/Geo Time: 2:30 pm. Abstract: The experiments at RHIC have taken data with Au+Au, d+Au and p+p collisions. Results from all these runs taken together are yielding interesting clues as to the nature of the matter created at RHIC. I will review some key results, focusing on particle spectra and particle correlations, and discuss what information we have learned from these measurements in our search for the Quark-Gluon Plasma.
