Colloquium Seminar Announcement Prof. Tom Abel KIPAC " The First Stars " Date: Monday, April 18, 2005 55 Roessler Time: 4:10 pm. Abstract: Through a series of numerical simulations we have arrived at the conclusions that the first luminous objects in the universe were massive isolated stars. These predictions will be tested observationally in the near future. This talk will highlight the requirements to extend such studies of early structure formation to the first metal enriched stars and small high redshift galaxies.
