Great to see you in class today.

Those who have not yet read the Syllabus, please do so by next Tuesday, 1/13/03, before class. You will be asked to mark a check mark on the class sign up sheet, if you have read it.

Class web, http://www.physics.ucdavis.edu/Classes/Physics10-B-W04/,  is updated, with the following added.
* Further HW guidelines.
* Class 1, 1/8/03, bullet-point summary. (Those who missed class ought to get the detail info from other students. As emphasized in the Syllabus and in today's class, lectures are related to, but not exactly follow the textbook (because we need to make choices and make improvements.) Contents of the lectures are import, if not the most important. They are needed in doing HW and will be tested in exams,
* Class 2, 1/13/03, info.
