UC Davis Physics enrollments in the news

On June 12 2012 the San Francisco Chronicle published an article UC, CSU pushed to cut low-enrollment programs.  In that article the number of UC Davis students graduating with physics degrees was erroneously listed as 4!  Physics Chair Andreas Albrecht responded with a letter correcting the error and taking the opportunity to promote our (large and rapidly growing) program.

Later that week the same article was published in the Davis Enterprise (still with the error). UCD's Vice Provost Turner, Dean Ko, and Chair Albrecht wrote a letter correcting the error and addressing some of the broader issues raised in the article.
