LUX is a 100-kg fiducial dual-phase liquid xenon detector that will be
located at the Sanford Underground Science and Engineering Laboratory (SUSEL)
near Deadwood, S.D. Its goal is to search for Dark Matter (DM) in the form
of Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMP's).
