May 19, 2010: Midterm Exam. Solution

Dear All,

Midterm for Phys 219A is scheduled for May 19, 2010, Wednesday, during our regular lecture time.

It includes material of chapters 1-4 of the textbook.

There will be two problems on the midterm with a series of questions (similar to HW problems)

Each problem is 10 points, total for the midterm is 20 points (20% towards final grade)

No books or notes will be allowed to use during the midterm.

June 8, 2010: Final Exam. Solution.

Dear All,

Final Exam for Phys 219A is scheduled for June 8, 2010, Tuesday, 8-10am

It includes material of all chapters that we studied.

There will be four problems on the final exam with a series of questions similar to the material of chapters in the textbook

Each problem is 10 points, total for the final is 40 points (40% towards final grade)

No books or notes will be allowed to use during the final.
